i'm a late-twenties lesbian woman who has played xiv and roleplayed on and off for around seven years. most of my characters are primarily on primal but i go crystal frequently. Uyo is one of many of my characters and i've recently fleshed her out with a great deal of inspiration from character like Frieren (Sousou no Frieren), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), and Seiga Kaku (Touhou 13 ~ Ten Desires) . i have a great fascination with characters who transcend natural boundaries and have to reckon with how that changes their perception of themselves and others.

.    THE FANGED CRESCENT    . Though details of her early life are clouded at best, it is known that Uyo originally hails from the Fanged Crescent mountain range. What is known is that, due to some mysterious magic, her youthful visage has remained completely unchanged after decades. She is also an avid collector of magic, and would deal however she had to for any manner of technique or tome.She kept as low a profile as she could in the years leading up to the Garlean occupation. Despite this, whispers of her peculiar nature spread further as the occupation raged on. Becoming known as a hermit with unimaginably wicked power, the Garleans set out to capture her with intention to use her against the local populace. Many platoons would find themselves crossing paths with the pale young Auri woman, with very few surviving to recount their experiences.

.    WESTWARD TRAVELS    . Growing tired of clashing with Garlean forces, Uyo settled in Eorzea, where she continued traveling and building her repertoire. Taking advantage of her new surroundings, she discovered a wellspring of new knowledge unknown to those in Othard, from the lowliest conjury spell to the most dangerous esoterica. Uyo would also become infatuated with Wakash Poiya, another Au Ra blessed with longevity not unlike her own, though her feelings were never reciprocated. After the Garlean retreat from Doma, she chose make the trek back to the East in search of her great-niece Mayumi, whom coincidentally had already immigrated to Eorzea. To what end is, like most of Uyo's backstory, a mystery, that she currently finds herself back in the western continent.
